The photograph was taken in a small garden on the edge of a house I visited not long ago. When I saw the shadow cast by the garden plant's leaves on the worn wall, I immediately thought of capturing the image for my blog.

La fotografía fue capturada en un pequeño jardín a orillas de una casa que visité no hace tanto. The plants in this garden are simple but beautiful, especially the large number of crown of thorns—a plant very popular due to its easy cultivation in this area. Its scientific name is Euphorbia Milii, and its most distinctive features are its fully spiny trunk and its silky-textured flowers in shades of orange and red. The other plant in my photo is a beautiful pink rose with a soft fragrance. One day, I hope to have a garden full of roses like this one.
