Hello friends, I hope you're having a lovely day. I didn’t want to miss the chance to participate in Qurator's Photo Quest especially because the theme is the color green, and many of my photos are filled with this color. So I got to work, and I knew exactly which photo to take.

The photo I’m sharing is of one of the cacti in my garden. The green of the plant is protected within its spines, and it’s an image I personally find very beautiful, especially because the red of the spines contrasts so well.

La foto que les comparto es la foto de uno de los cactus de mi jardín. El verde de la planta se encuentra protegido dentro de sus espinas, y es una imagen que en lo personal considero muy bonita, sobre todo por el rojo de las espinas que contrasta muy bien.

I used a medium-distant blurry focus, softening both the background and the foreground spines to highlight the green center even more, placing the subject at the heart of the frame. For editing, I used Snapseed, with a simple crop to improve the composition. I really enjoyed taking this photo.

Utilicé un enfoque medio lejano y borroso, tanto en el fondo como en las primeras espinas, para destacar aún más el centro de atención en el verde, centrando el sujeto. Para la edición utilicé Snapseed, con un simple recorte para mejorar el encuadre. Disfruté mucho tomando esta fotografía.
