Hola amigos, espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día. Este será un blog breve ya que será la fotografía que utilizaré como participación de este round de PHOTOFEED, específicamente será en la entrada para Black & White Photography. Los animo a que si tienen bonitas fotos en Blanco y Negro dentro de su galería las compartan. Pueden estar pendientes de las últimas entradas y oportunidades para participar a través de la comunidad y su usuario oficial. The photograph I share with you today is of some small flowers. In my country they are known as “galán de noche,“ but they have many other names. The peculiarity of this flower is that it blooms mostly at night and has a very sweet and characteristic aroma that can spread several meters around the plant. These plants can grow from 1 meter to more than 2 meters in height, and they are very branched and leafy.
In this photograph, I wanted the focus to be more on the flowers than on the tree itself. Therefore, I used a total black background interrupted by the high contrast, almost burned effect of the white flowers. This makes each flower in the bouquet stand out, and it also highlights their darker centers. For the black and white effect, I used the default values of the second B&W option in the Snapseed app.

La fotografía que les comparto hoy es de unas pequeñas florecillas. En mi país se les conoce como “galán de noche“, pero tiene muchos más nombres. La peculiaridad de esta flor es que florece sobre todo en las noches y tiene un aroma muy dulce y característico que logra extenderse por varios metros alrededor de la planta. Estas plantas pueden crecer desde 1 metro hasta más de 2 metros de altura, y son muy ramificadas y frondosas.
En esta fotografía quise que el protagonismo estuviera más en las flores que en el árbol como tal. Por lo tanto, utilicé un negro total interrumpido por el alto contraste, casi quemado, de las flores blancas. Esto hace que cada una de las flores del ramo destaque, además de resaltar mucho su centro más oscuro. Para el blanco y negro utilicé los valores por defecto del segundo B&W de la aplicación Snapseed.
