Clay Stories ~ Shadow Contest/SMASh - Round 391 [ENG/ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you're having a very lovely day. Today I bring you a new blog entry, which will be my submission for the Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest – Round 391. I hope you enjoy this post and the photograph that goes with it.

This photograph shows three clay coffee cups on a table. It was taken using a photography filter, and I really liked the result and the shadows cast on the wall. These small clay cups are very common in Cuba—I think every household has some, and they’re almost always used to serve coffee to guests. I believe they carry a sense of cubanía. The colors vary widely: yellow, lilac, and coffee-brown like these. I think that’s my favorite color for coffee cups. Sometimes we have everyday objects nearby and don’t stop to think about all the stories and moments they might hold. These cups are simple, but they tell stories and smell like coffee—more than enough to deserve a good photo.

Well friends, thank you so much for making it this far and for being part of another day on my blog. As always, I wish you lots of luck and success. See you in the next post. Bye bye!

¡Chau chau!
