Me, without a doubt, I am having one, especially today that I make some time to sit down and write this log to participate in one of my favorite initiatives from Photofeed. It’s time to share my best black and white photo of the week. Today the star of my photo is a snail, and if you follow my blog closely, you surely know it well.
Hola amigos y hola amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro, espero que estén teniendo un lindo día. Yo, por aquí sin dudas lo estoy teniendo, y más hoy que hago algo de tiempo para sentarme y escribir este log, para con él participar en una de mis iniciativas favoritas de Photofeed. Es el momento de compartir mi mejor foto en blanco y negro de la semana. Hoy el protagonista de mi foto es un caracol, y si sigues de cerca mi blog seguro lo conoces bien.
The photograph I share with you today is of a snail that I shared here many days ago, saying I had found it. If you follow my blog, you’ll know the story behind it: I mistook this snail for a polimita, a very well‑known snail species native to my country, but the latter usually have more vibrant colors, ranging from reds and oranges to yellows. I really liked the result of this black and white photograph because it highlights the snail’s pattern and the textures of my hand. The snail is adorned with straight lines that look hand‑drawn. Surely this snail was prey for some bird a long time ago, and only its old shell remained. La fotografía que hoy les comparto es de un caracol que hace muchos días compartí por aquí que había encontrado. Si están al tanto de mi blog, sabrán la historia detrás: confundí este caracol con una polimita, una especie de caracol muy conocida y autóctona de mi país, pero estas últimas suelen tener colores más vibrantes y tonalidades que van desde los rojos y naranjas a los amarillos. Me gustó mucho el resultado de esta fotografía en blanco y negro porque resalta el patrón del caracol y las texturas de mi mano. El caracol está adornado con líneas rectas que parecen dibujadas a mano. Seguro este caracol fue presa de algún ave hace mucho tiempo y solo quedó su antigua casa. Espero que les haya gustado esta fotografía en blanco y negro; les envío, como siempre, toda la suerte y todos los éxitos del mundo durante la semana. ¡Chau, chau!
