La fotografía que les comparto hoy es una toma en blanco y negro de un pequeño origami de un barco de papel que hice con un post-it y coloqué sobre mi escritorio. Estaba tan bonito el barquito que decidí dibujarle un mar en otro post-it: coloqué colas y peces, y creé una pequeña composición. La luz sobre mi escritorio es muy intensa y genera siempre fuertes sombras con bordes muy definidos y de colores oscuros. Un barquito nadando en mi escritorio, ¿quién lo diría? Creo que este es un ejemplo de esas cosas diarias que, si nos detenemos a explorar y comprender, podemos convertir en algo interesante y más bonito. Unos post-it y un lápiz ahora son un mar de peces y un barco que lo surca, en busca quizás de tesoros.

The photo I’m sharing today is a black-and-white shot of a small origami paper boat I made using a post-it and placed on my desk. The little boat looked so cute that I decided to draw a sea on another post-it—tails and fish—and created a small composition. The light on my desk is very intense and always casts strong shadows with sharply defined edges and deep tones. A little boat swimming across my desk—who would’ve thought? I believe this is one of those everyday things that, if we pause to explore and understand, can become something more interesting and beautiful. A few post-its and a pencil are now a sea of fish and a boat sailing through it, perhaps in search of treasure.
