Conociendo el Mercado de San Telmo

Este emblemático Mercado Ubicado en San Telmo, Buenos Aires, fue uno de los sitios más lindos y curiosos que visité en mi viaje. Este sitio histórico data de finales del siglo XIX y aún guarda mucho de su contexto, que es el de ser un mercado.

Al principio se vendían frutas, víveres y demás. Hoy sigue vendiendo algunas de estas cosas, pero como es más turístico, puedes conseguirte con pequeños restaurantes por todo el lugar, además de tiendas de antigüedades y de souvenirs para regalar.

Al ingresar a este lugar, sientes que viajas a algún sitio europeo y que viajas en el tiempo, toda la estructura te d auna sensación de antaño. El sitio es precioso y puedes conseguir comidas provenientes de todas partes de el mundo. Aquí fue donde probé el choripan y una gran bandeja de papas fritas.

This emblematic market located in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, was one of the most beautiful and curious places I visited on my trip. This historic site dates from the late nineteenth century and still retains much of its context, which is that of being a market.

In the beginning it sold fruits, groceries and so on. Today it still sells some of these things, but since it is more touristy, you can find small restaurants all over the place, as well as antique and souvenir stores to give as gifts.

When you enter this place, you feel like you are traveling to some European place and that you are traveling back in time, the whole structure gives you a feeling of yesteryear. The place is beautiful and you can get food from all over the world. This is where I tried the choripan and a big tray of french fries.
