These strange alien creatures

All kitties are selfish, that's what I found out very recently. It's not just our spoiled Blacky who is used to profiting from his two address registrations (as I call them) where he resides. The second - unknown to us. Here one menu, there another - that's what he benefits from the least.

But when we talk about selfishness and throw in our best fluffy rabbit Professor Shisho, it's getting a little too much, don't you think?

Because Professor Shisho is our greatest good man, the one who comes only to rub against you, to caress himself. He doesn't come to you with the purpose of smearing you or something, to get something out of you. At least that's my feeling, though it could be wrong. As wrong was my feeling towards our most spoiled child, Blacky.

But when it comes to food, Professor Shisho turns nasty, a straight ass. Even if he's not hungry, even if he's just fed or just shown me he's not hungry, the moment I try to feed one of his brothers, he comes... just to prevents him from eating.
The otherwise good Professor Shisho is so funny in his selfish ways. These alien creatures are so strange, don't you think?

It's a nickname I've called him by since he saved me once in the garden from an unknown monster. It seemed as if he knew it, although he was seeing it for the first time too... this professor who reads encyclopedias all day, my savior 😹

Exactly! 😹 These are the exact books I picture in his hands (paws) when he reads them with prescription glasses (he's a professor, after all), I even think I mentioned them once when I wrote about him, haha

Yes, all cats have their own personality, but I am amazed when they change their typical personality traits to look like a single collective image of a cat 😹

From a human point of view, his actions are completely incomprehensible. They are very reminiscent of those little rascals in kindergarten who come to spoil the play of the other good children. Just like that, for no reason, because there is no logical reason - Shisho is not hungry. 😹

Ha ha, generally speaking, there is no cure for being a cat. 😹
No, he wasn't homeless. Born and raised in the garden, he never went hungry. Even often, when it's time for food, I can see that he's already eaten somewhere else - that's the advantage of free-roaming cats. They can always choose from the varied menu of neighboring houses, knowing that something different is guaranteed to await them at home.
I've noticed that adopted animals are even generally a bit more tactful and resourceful, more well-mannered so to speak. But I'm not sure if this applies to cats too 🤔🐱🐈
