Having mentioned about the symbols of summer in my last post, what more eloquent symbol of this most beloved season is there than the sea? 🌊⛵There isn't one. The sea, with all its "accessories", all its appurtenances and parts. Like fishing villages, for example.

No, this weathered metal structure is not just something made of parallel rusted irons. It is something magical, the intermediate portal between the magical world of the sea and the ordinary world of land. It is a threshold. Between magic and reality.

When you get on the boat that takes you out to sea, you are already lost, enchanted, forever in love with the vast expanse. You may never return to land again. Mostly because you won't want to. I'm pretty sure that the sea is so attractive that the fishermen become intoxicated with it, addicted and want to return to the water again and again, without stopping, until one day they just can't get out of it anymore...

Wait, I was supposed to talk about summer today. This is because the sea has enchanted me too...

It's not the most beautiful sight in the world, but fishing villages are always like that - steeped in poverty, but also some special sense of nostalgia and unearthliness.

Really? Sometimes they look quite similar. 😄 Or at least the atmosphere in them is the same. I personally often get them mixed up, but they are my main points of visit when exploring the coasts.
