In my mind I am ignoring all the ugly air cons and the cables. Must have been glorious times. And yes, I suppose the owners and builders of those buildings have put the signs of their affiliation so it is clear. Or not so clear for the other people :)

That's an awesome article today!

I don't think anything is clear to other people. Or at least not to modern people at all. For me, building a building is a sacrament. Especially when it is built with a sacred material, like stone. Nowadays, not much is put into the construction of buildings, and the consequences of this are visible, just as recently. And because I'm a fan of well-done work, as I've always said it, the buildings from this exact period, which I've written about so many times, built in Bulgaria, impress me so much.
Thank you!

I see your point, yes. Quality was paramount just a few decades ago. Nowadays, it's mostly about profits and outlooks...

Love shabby buildings with flavor of history. 1912 is quite a different epoch. Bulgaria is a kingdom, the WW1 is near... Balkan wars...

Beautiful building, but these air conditioner units spoil its character! In any case its another great post!

Thank you!
Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid these modern but ugly appendages of modern buildings. Imagine how it was in the past - just one fireplace. It was probably quite difficult and uncomfortable, but beautiful and cozy. 😊
