A vintage lens for 0.5$!! "Pentacon Aka bokeh beast".

Hello everyone, i was looking for this lens for a long time; the moral of story today i decided to go to the Souk this place in Morocco is like a huge supermarket but in open field there is a sellers of vegetables, fruits, clothes, new and used, wheat grains, used things, and used things imported from abroad, i went there at 10:00am start looking i found a guy showing his stuff on the ground each piece for 0.5$ it is 5 Moroccan dirham, i activated the eagle mode in a moment my eyes come on a lens i go to check the condition then i found it is the Pentacon 50mm f1.8 the lens i was looking for what a coincidence. W

When get back home i start testing process i found that it haven't been used for a long time because it wasn't function well the focus ring not smooth the aperture ring stuck when i opened to realise that there's a piece of metal not in it's right place i fixed it by the away , inside of the lens there was a lot of dust and oil i clean it and i cleaned the glass too.
I found another item by the way related to photography also for same price i will talk about it in the next post.

Lens performance:

I set an RGB light behind and take my cat car lol as a subject , well to be honest it isn't a sharp lens maybe when you stop it down to f4 it becomes better in the centre either the edges but wide open at f1.8 it is soft in the edges but a bit sharp in the centre, i think it is a great choice for cinematographers that smoothness and the bokeh it rander just another way to satisfy your eyes also it works in photography for artistic purposes it has that artistic touch on it, i will test it more in the field and give you the final review about it.

You can find one in eBay between 30$ and 150$ depends on the release date, mount type ( M42 it is cheaper than the other mounts) condition all this factors could change the price also the demand.

All i needed to see the magic is this adapter so i can adapt my sony E mount to the M42

The minimum focus distance of this lens is 33 centimetres and the minimum aperture is f1.8 max f16

Lol well my cat don't love to take pictures was trying for 30 mintues to take a good picture of him showing the bokeh but he was like Nah bro it isn't my thing and that's what i could get.
