REMEMBERING A FAMILY DAY (ENG/ESP)

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. I know I've been a little lost these days, but here I am again. Today I am sharing with you a memory of the first time I went to Musipan with my family.

We decided to go to Musipan, since I was on vacation here in Margarita Island. A cousin who usually lives in Maturin, she had not visited the island for a long time and when she arrived, we all agreed to go to Musipan as a family. Everything was planned so that it would be a quiet moment and not be pending of other things, we went looking for my grandmother, since we also wanted to share with her and so we could enjoy a different day, I was really happy because I had never been to Musipan for reasons of life and although I knew that the park was no longer what it once was, I was also very happy to visit it.

Hola a todos, Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Sé que he estado un poco perdida estos días, pero acá estoy nuevamente. El día de hoy les comparto un recuerdo de la primera vez que fui a musipan en familia.

Decidimos ir a musipan, ya que estaba de vacaciones acá en la isla de Margarita. Una prima que por lo general vive en Maturín, ella tenía mucho tiempo que no visitaba la isla y cuando llegó, pues nos pusimos de acuerdo para ir todos a musipan en familia. Todo se planificó para que fuera un momento tranquilo y no estar pendiente de otras cosas pasamos buscando a mi abuela, ya que también queríamos compartir con ella y así aprovechar de que pasara un día diferente, yo la verdad en parte estaba contenta porque nunca había ido a musipan por razones de la vida y aunque sabía de qué ese parque ya no era lo que en su momento fue Igualmente estaba muy contenta por visitarlo.

At first, I was a little upset about the fact that the day before I had straightened my hair and, well, the next day I was going to have to get it wet since there was a pool there, so obviously I did not give importance to the hair, so I went anyway. When we arrived I realized that the place was very deteriorated, there were only a few cabins and barely working, a pool and a slide, I know that before the park had more attractions, because when we passed by the parking lot there were several tennis courts if I am not mistaken and the truth is that it was sad to see them in the state in which they were, there was also a street that gave access to that side which was totally closed and it was noticeable that people did not go there for a long time which was a little sad.

En primer momento, estaba un poco molesta por el hecho de que el día anterior me había alisado el cabello y, pues, al día siguiente me lo iba a tener que mojar dado que en ese lugar había piscina yo, pues obviamente no le di importancia al cabello, así que de todas maneras fui. Cuando llegamos me di cuenta de qué el lugar estaba muy deteriorado, apenas quedaban unas cuantas cabañas y apenas funcionando, una piscina y un tobogán sé que antes el parque contaba con más atracciones, ya que cuando pasamos por el estacionamiento había varias canchas de tenis si no me equivoco y la verdad es que daba tristeza verlas en el estado en el que se encontraban, además había una calle que daba es el acceso a ese lado el cual Estaba totalmente cerrado y se notaba de que la gente no pasaba para allá desde hace mucho tiempo lo cual era un poco triste.

When we arrived, the first thing we did was to swim in the pool, obviously, and since we were with my cousin, who has two children: one was a baby and the other a little older child, but with a condition so it was like being with another little child. At first I was watching the kids for a while, then I walked around to see what the place was like and I really liked the fact that you could see the sea from a bridge that was there over a pool, the truth is that is very nice I do not want to imagine how it would have been when the park was working at 100%. Finally, after we had a good time in the place, we dared to go down the slide. The truth is that I was a little scared, but after jumping the first time I jumped three more times. Cuando llegamos, lo primero que hicimos fue bañarnos en la piscina, obviamente, y cómo estábamos con mi prima, la cual tiene dos hijos: uno era una bebé y el otro un niño un poco más grande, pero con una condición por lo que era como estar con otro niño chiquito. Al principio estuve pendiente de los niños un rato, después me di una vuelta por los alrededores para observar qué tal era el lugar y me gustó mucho el hecho de que podías ver el mar desde un puente que había ahí sobre una piscina, la verdad es que eso es muy lindo no me quiero imaginar cómo hubiese sido cuando el parque funcionaba al 100%. Ya por último, después de que tuvimos un buen rato en el lugar, nos animamos a lanzarnos del tobogán. La verdad es que sí me daba un poco de miedo, pero después de lanzarme la primera vez me lancé otras tres veces más. Si mal no recuerdo, y la verdad es que fue muy divertido.
