Geese hanging out by some lily pads
Seems like there is food to eat under the plants, maybe they are eating the tender leaves of young plants.. hard to say for sure. But they sure seem happy with whatever they are finding, they spend a good amount of time just going through the aquatic foliage.

Its a pretty big family that was hanging out.
Fun to watch them stick their heads in the water looking for stuff.
They move along taking a drink once in awhile from the looks of it as well.
Eventually they move to more of the middle of the pond.
After they leave we can see all the streaks from them moving through the water.
Normally it looks like this, undisturbed. So its easy to notice when something has crossed through the pads.
Looking like they are heading back for some more.
Hard to say for sure, its a geese's life. They seem to spend their way on and off the land, and everywhere in between.
They may find small fish when they dip their heads underwater.
Oh nice.. maybe that is what they are doing.
We also have lots of those Canadian Geese in Seattle area :)

I'd bet they are find some leaves to eat. What great pictures, geese are such cool birds, from a distance. Up close and personal they can be mean! It's awesome you get to see so much wildlife out there!

The Cemara family looked very happy in the pond, having fun together. It seemed like they were looking for small fish behind the lotus plants.

They hang out peacefully in nature. I'm sure they'll spend their whole lives like this. As long as there isn't an ugly duckling among them :P

The water surface is covered with duckweed. Geese love to eat duckweed.
Hmm I think duckweed is something different.. these lilly pads are bigger than that.

So glorious to witness a family of geese. They move fancily and with class. I rarely see them here in our town but I love their species. The way you choose your angle in taking photos gives life to the geese family's endeavor.
It is pretty cool seeing them moving all around.. lol
Haha there's some hoser Canada Geese right there! Looks like they took a break from honking and hissing and shitting all over the place up north here.
