Bumblebee visiting my cacti flowers
One of the many kinds of pollinators my cactus flowers get a visit from are bumblebees. They go from open flower to flower and pretty much get covered in pollen. I took my macro lens and attached it to my Lumix GH6 camera, and on a sunny day I visited my cactus baskets and got to see a bumblebee visiting them.

It did not seem to mind my presence.
Sticking its head deep into the flower I guess that is how it gets the nectar.
Flying off to the next flower.
We can see pollen on its back legs, maybe it has a pollen basket.. Not sure about this species of bee.
In this one it does look like it has a basket, some bees have them and some do not. The ones that do not are like mason bees that completely cover themselves in the pollen to transport it. Instead of storing it in special baskets on the bees.
Hah quite the pollen covered sugar cookie right there. Seems like it does not mind. I think I would be sneezing a lot.. lol
Wow, look at it go! Those are some great shots! I love seeing the pollen all covering the bee. I had some zucchini plants a while ago that I had to self pollinate with a paint brush because I didn't have enough bees visiting my yard. The next year I threw some flowers in between the vegetable plants to help bring them in.
