The Quiet Beauty of Sesbania grandiflora

Today I wanted to share a very specific happiness. I watched a beautiful flower bloom next to our house a few days ago — the Bok phool, which some call Joyonti . It suddenly caught my eye, and I couldn’t stop myself. I quickly grabbed my camera. I look at this flower, it feels like its shape looks like a small bird- i think this is the reasons why it’s called the Hummingbird Tree. Its scientific name, Sesbania grandiflora,. The flower has a quiet and gentle beauty that no name can fully explain.

These flowers are really soft, and they respond to even a little wind. Their colors of yellow and light green provide a peaceful feeling. If we look inside the flower, there’s a small story there - it shows how creative and artistic nature could be.

I completely lost track of time as I was taking pictures. The flower looks different in different lights — midday sun or the softer light of afternoon makes each image feel like a new story.

This flower is too common in our country but many people might not have looked at it so deep. I stoped for a moment and see it, and then capture that moment with my camera.
