Each nature season has its own colors, smells and emotions to gift. Just like that, a few days ago some lovely flowers blossomed in our garden—China pinks. Its scientific name is Dianthus chinensis. Sometimes we commonly say Rainbow Pink. Each flower, with its small, ruffled petals, looks like a perfect little painting. I took these beautiful picture with my phone camera and wanted to share them with my nature-loving friends on Hive.

China pink mainly comes from countries in East Asia - such as China, Korea or Mongolia where it grows wild. But it also adapts nicely to our local weather. From what I can tell, this flower doesn’t require a great deal of care. As long as it’s got a bit of sun, a bit of water and a bit of love, it will bloom every day and present our eyes with pure joy. When I look at these dew-kissed flowers in the morning, it seems that nature has decorated them just for us.

The peace that comes from the colors of these flowers is hard to put into words. It sometimes becomes deep pink, and at other times pale white, or reddish sparks, and every color seems to be something special and reaches one’s heart. I photographed the China pinks in my garden, and each is another shard of my deep relationship with nature. I get to look at them every morning, and it’s become a daily routine.

Nature has given us many kinds of flowers, but China pink has a kind of simple beauty that makes our heart full just by looking at it. I feel happy to share that joy with you through this post.
