A slightly different Prague - Agfa APX 400

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I last posted any photos. It's not that I haven't been taking photos, but for the last six months I've been putting everything away in a drawer. And today I felt like taking a look at what I've actually created in that virtual drawer. From one roll of Agfa APX 400 film that I shot sometime in early spring. I selected seven photos that show places that tourists probably don't notice and locals just walk past. I hope you enjoy this selection, and see you next time.

A beautiful series of black and white shots, with beautifully crafted, soft, and eloquent contrast levels, as well as a subtle texture provided by the grain... My favorite photo was this one; I couldn't explain exactly why, but I suppose it's because of its composition, where everything seems perfectly placed, and the perfect use of straight and curved lines, taking full advantage of the structure... A big round of applause!

One of the reasons why I started shooting on film again is precisely because of what you described. The final photographs seems more natural to me. It's kind of how I saw it in real life, because our eyes aren't as sharp as modern lenses. Especially at a later age. To master composition, I started imagining the objects I want to photograph as simple shapes, such as ovals, circles, and triangles. So in the final photograph, I basically just deal with the balance between these objects. And I have to say that my photographs have improved greatly in terms of composition.

These photos are incredible, but especially the first shot. The symmetry is gorgeous
