A Day Like Any Other - Sublime and beautiful Sunday
Hi Hivers! Everyday brings with it its own measure of surprises, beauty and disappointments. However, what we make of those things we experience is what makes a day sublime or beautiful. The incessant rain outside and the various health problems I face restrict my movements to a large extent, this also dictates my presence and my writing here on Hive. Honestly I would love to be here everyday just as I used to be before I fell ill, but that aside I have decided to post more often here by using the photographs I take each day.
Although my movement is restricted I have my own little world to wander around and bring you fresh images from there. I hope enjoy these scenes as much as I do, these sight have always been my source of joy. Looking at this mini dahlia (first image) I planted in a container I clipped on to my trellis with a home made contraption makes my day as splendid and beautiful as any can ever get. Just a look at this bright beauty makes it seem like spring time even though we are at the end of our monsoon season. The color and the shape of the petals curling inwards makes this extra beautiful.
The passion fruit season is almost over now and yet it is wonderful to see a couple of flowers blooming on the vine every now and again.
This mallow is a volunteer in my garden. lt keeps raising its head every now and then in each of my containers and very often I have to pull them out as they grow huge and drain out all the nutrition that is available for the plant which has been designated for that container. I have designated a small space for these beauties in my garden and they shine here in their own simple way.
I had planted different colors of gladioli in my garden and the bloom this Sunday was this deep red one.
This pink gladioli was downed by the rain before its time, conveying a sublime message that life is beautiful and we need to enjoy it while we can.
Waterlilies don't bloom when there is little or no sunshine. However this late bloomer decided to spring a surprise this Sunday and it made my day extra special.
Hibiscus of all hues abound in my garden, but the lack of sufficient sunshine puts a temporary end to the flowers. Yet once in a while one single flower summons up the courage to lift its head up and bring a smile to my face.
Dianthus, rain lilies and begonias also seem to ensure that there is enough color and beauty all around. The little things that brings us joy are the sublime things of life. They make you smile despite the troubles you face, they have the power to erase the worries in your mind even if its only for a minute and even lift the heaviness in your heart that could weigh you down.
The leaves hanging heavy with water after the rains is another common sight to behold in the monsoon season. Even though You can't get out of the house much you can still enjoy the outdoors within the confines of your home. Add a steaming cup of coffee to this scenario and it makes the experience more sublime if that was even possible.
(I hope you noticed this tiny praying mantis adapting itself to its environs)
There is beauty everywhere all you need is the eyes to behold . Eyes filled with of appreciation and awe enables you to experience the sublimity of nature and its effect on the mind and body. I hope you enjoyed these little beauties that made this Sunday sublime and beautiful for me.
Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement.

Lovely bright flowers. The passion flower looks really interesting.
Glad you like them @ace108 . I am glad to see the passion flowers around even after the summer is long gone.

I transplanted my Mallow plants this year because we put in a new patio. They were in a bad spot and would have gotten trampled. They are doing pretty well despite having been moved from a place they had been for quite a few years. Yours is a beauty!
Those Passion Fruit flowers are always a crowd pleaser. So unique. Glad you are able to get out and wonder the garden.. This way you don't go crazy from being confined. Hang in there!!!
Mallows also grow from cuttings, I've transplanted them a few times, the are none the worsse for the wear.
Passion flowers are indeed very unique looking flowers. I'd love to have all colors of passion flowers if I had the space.
Thanks for stopping by.
