El mundo ahí afuera

Hay un mundo afuera por explorar, y tenemos la oportunidad de conocerlo de múltiples formas, por la era en la que existimos en este momento. Antes accediamos a este mundo de formas muy costosas, muy enrevesadas. Ahora es más sencillo disfrutar del arte, la música, los libros. Viajar sigue siendo muy costoso, pero no es la única forma para conocer el mundo.
Pienso en todo lo que ahí allí afuera y mi mente vuela, lo que me interesa a mi es un área muy chiquita, y apenas me alcanza el tiempo para explorarla y comprenderla, pero hay tanto, en todos los ámbitos, que solo saber de esa existencia, aparentemente infinita, me emociona y me hace sentir agradecida. Digo lo segundo porque sé que esta época no es color rosa, y son varias las consecuencias negativas de la tecnología tan avanzada y la globalización, pero la posibilidad de conocer tanto, sobre cualquier tema, me parece extraordinario.

There is a world out there to explore, and we have the opportunity to discover it in many ways, thanks to the era in which we currently live. In the past, accessing this world was very expensive and complicated. Now it is easier to enjoy art, music, and books. Traveling is still very expensive, but it is not the only way to discover the world.
I think about everything that is out there and my mind wanders. What interests me is a very small area, and I barely have enough time to explore and understand it, but there is so much, in all areas, that just knowing about that seemingly infinite existence excites me and makes me feel grateful. I say this because I know that these times are not all rosy, and there are several negative consequences of such advanced technology and globalization, but the possibility of learning so much about any subject seems extraordinary to me.
