I'm very close (Venezuela), however I have never been to Aruba. I don't doubt that it is very beautiful, but I have always had the impression that it is a super commercial place, so mass tourism type, and that's why it doesn't call my attention, but surely it must have another side to discover. I would say that it definitely commercial. It caters to a lot of cruise ships and resort vacationers. So yeah, It wouldn't be for everyone.
