Every time I visit a nursery I wish I had a broad knowledge of the plant species to be able to identify so many interesting plants that I see, but I know very little about them.

This time I went to the nursery with my sister, she has several plants and knows more about them, so I could ask her some questions since no species was identified, which is a pity because there were only two people attending people in the place and it was difficult to go to them as we were walking away to the different areas it has.

We went with the intention of letting my sister know about the nursery (I had gone before) and to see if we could get some plants my mom was looking for, such as sage or chamomile. They didn't have either, or well, supposedly the chamomile did, and I bought it but then when I showed it to my mom at home it turns out it wasn't hahaha...

One of the things I liked the most of this visit was to see an apple tree, with the fruit there almost ready to pick, because here in Venezuela it is not common to see these plants. I was also surprised by the cactus and succulents, especially the ones in the last picture, don't you think they look like they came from Mars?

Cada vez que visito un vivero quisiera tener un amplio conocimiento de las especies vegetales para poder identificar tantas plantas interesantes que veo, pero sé muy poco de ellas.

En esta oportunidad fui al vivero con mi hermana, ella tiene varias plantas y sabe más de ellas, entonces podía hacerle algunas preguntas dado que ninguna especie estaba identificada, lo cual es una pena porque apenas había dos personas atendiendo a la gente en el lugar y se hacía difícil acudir a ellas a medida que íbamos alejándonos hacia las diferentes áreas que posee.

Fuimos con la intención de que mi hermana conociera el vivero (yo había ido antes) y para ver si conseguíamos algunas plantas que mi mamá estaba buscando, como por ejemplo la salvia o manzanilla. No tenían ninguna de las dos, o bueno, supuestamente la manzanilla sí, y yo la compré pero luego cuando se la mostré a mi mamá en la casa resulta que no era jajaja...

Una de las cosas que más me gustó de esta visita fue ver un árbol de manzano, con la fruta allí casi lista para recoger, y es que acá en Venezuela no es común ver estas plantas. También me sorprendieron los cactus y suculentas, sobre todo las de la última foto, ¿no les parece que lucen como venidas de Marte?
