Naked 🍃... [ENG-ESP]

Being naked on the street in broad daylight is certainly a scandal, unless you are a tree, in which case you might go completely unnoticed.

Estar desnudo en la calle a plena luz del día es sin duda un escándalo, a menos que seas un árbol, en ese caso quizás pases completamente desapercibido.

I wasn't looking for subjects to photograph, but I saw it there, and not just one, several trees in the city have shed their leaves and shamelessly show their intimacies, their dry branches.

No buscaba temas para fotografiar, pero lo vi allí, y no sólo uno, varios árboles de la ciudad se han despojado de sus hojas y muestran sin pudor sus intimidades, sus ramas secas.

I don't blame them, with the heat it's getting these days around here, a lot of people would like to do the same 😄.

No los culpo, con el calor que está haciendo estos días por aquí, a mucha gente le gustaría hacer lo mismo 😄.

I found it curious that although we are in the dry season, not all the trees were bare, the larger ones, like the ceibas for example, are the ones I saw without leaves.

Me pareció curioso que aunque estamos en la temporada de sequía, no todos los árboles estaban desnudos, los más grandes, como las ceibas por ejemplo, son los que vi sin hojas.

The good news is that as soon as the rains start, these trees will not take long to dress up in their outfits for the new season.

Lo bueno es que apenas empiecen las lluvias dentro de poco, estos árboles no tardarán en vestirse con sus trajes para la nueva temporada.

As I was taking these pictures I was thinking that even without foliage these imposing trees look spectacular, don't you think?

Mientras tomaba estas fotos pensaba que incluso sin follaje estos imponentes árboles se ven espectaculares, ¿no les parece?
