It's not easy to photograph the orchestra | Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

It wasn't my job to do that, I was there to write the review of the show, but since I had brought my camera, a simple compact, I wanted to get some images of my own of the event.

As the musical pieces played and I photographed, I noticed that several of the shots I was taking lacked sharpness. The theater lighting and the movements of an orchestra require a camera with manual functions that you can adjust the shutter speed and ISO.

Talking to the photographer who accompanied me on this assignment, he told me that show photography, as well as sports photography, was one of the most difficult, transmitting the emotions generated by music or a soccer game with images is not easy at all, and I think it's totally true.

Although I have taken pictures in the concerts I have been to, rock above all, until that moment I had not photographed an orchestra, that's why I wanted to experiment and make the attempt with my modest camera.

No era mi trabajo hacerlo, yo estaba allí para escribir la reseña del espectáculo, pero como había llevado mi cámara, una compacta sencilla, quise tener algunas imágenes propias del evento.

A medida que las piezas musicales iban sonando y yo fotografiando, me di cuenta de que varias de las tomas que estaba haciendo carecían de nitidez. La iluminación del teatro y los movimientos de una orquesta requieren una cámara con funciones manuales, que le puedas ajustar la velocidad de obturación y el ISO.

Hablando con el fotógrafo que me acompañó a esta pauta, me dijo que la fotografía de espectáculos, así como la deportiva, era de las más difíciles, transmitir con imágenes las emociones que genera la música o un partido de fútbol no es nada fácil, y creo que es totalmente cierto.

Aunque he hecho fotos en los conciertos a los que he ido, sobre todo de rock, hasta ese momento no había fotografiado una orquesta, por eso quise experimentar y hacer el intento con mi modesta cámara.
