In search of inspiration ✨ En busca de inspiración

A new sketchbook has been sitting in my library for a long time. I bought it with the intention of taking up this hobby again, but between everyday life, work, and other things, years have gone by and it's still there with all its pages blank.

In my past drawings, I've mostly drawn portraits and landscapes, but now I'd like to create something totally different. The thing is, inspiration hasn't struck me yet, I don't think it should be forced, and I don't want to start using that sketchbook with just anything.

I know there are many activities we can do to spark creativity. My favorite is going for a walk or traveling, but when I can't do that, I turn to contemplation. I'm lucky to have an attractive view from my balcony, and what's more, almost every day I can see incredible sunsets, like the ones in these photos I'm sharing today. I think they could be a good source of inspiration to start drawing again, what do you think?

En mi biblioteca reposa desde hace mucho tiempo un block de dibujo nuevo. Lo compré con la intención de retomar este hobby, pero entre el día a día, el trabajo y otras cosas, han pasado años y él sigue allí con todas sus hojas en blanco.

En mis dibujos del pasado he dibujado sobre todo retratos y paisajes, pero ahora quisiera crear algo totalmente diferente. El problema es que aún no me ha llegado la inspiración, no creo que deba forzarse, y no quiero estrenar ese block de dibujo con cualquier cosa.

Sé que hay muchas actividades que podemos hacer para activar la creatividad. Mis favoritas son pasear o irme de viaje, pero cuando no puedo hacer eso recurro a la contemplación. Tengo la suerte de tener una vista atractiva desde mi balcón, y además, casi todos los días puedo ver unas increíbles puestas de sol, como la de estas fotos que comparto hoy. Creo que podrían ser una buena fuente de inspiración para volver a dibujar, ¿ustedes qué dicen?
