En la Feria del Libro - Concurso TBT: una foto, una historia, un día de esos [ESP-ENG]

Justo hoy, 3 de julio de 2025, comienza una nueva edición de la Feria Internacional del Libro de Venezuela (FILVEN), la número 21, un evento que reúne editoriales reconocidas, librerías, instituciones y personas relacionadas con el mundo del libro tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Este gran evento se realiza en Caracas durante 10 días, y luego una versión más pequeña de la feria, gira por todos los estados del país en los siguientes meses, para incentivar así la lectura y llevar novedades literarias a más personas.

He asistido a muchas ediciones de la FILVEN, me encanta este evento porque no sólo puedes comprar libros sino que también hay charlas, presentaciones, música y muchas actividades entretenidas, ¡un gran ambiente! A gran parte de las ediciones asistí por motivos laborales, como periodista de la fuente cultural, cada vez que empezaba la feria prácticamente nos mudábamos para allá a trabajar. Entre hacer las entrevistas, las reseñas y crónicas, los días se nos iban rápido, por eso casi no tengo fotos hechas por mí durante las ferias, no me quedaba tiempo para eso.

Esta foto que comparto hoy fue hecha durante algún momento libre, paseando y mirando los stands de la feria, que en esa edición se realizó en el Teatro Teresa Carreño. Me la tomó el fotógrafo de un periódico sin yo darme cuenta, quizás hace unos 8 años o algo así, y una amiga que trabajaba en ese medio la vio y me la pasó: “¡mira, saliste hoy en el periódico!”, me dijo. Me sorprendió verme allí jeje, pero luego me pareció divertido, ¿les ha pasado algo así?

Just today, July 3, 2025, begins a new edition of the International Book Fair of Venezuela (FILVEN), number 21, an event that brings together renowned publishers, bookstores, institutions and people related to the world of books both nationally and internationally. This great event is held in Caracas for 10 days, and then a smaller version of the fair tours all the states of the country in the following months, to encourage reading and bring literary novelties to more people.

I have attended many editions of FILVEN, I love this event because not only can you buy books but there are also talks, presentations, music and many entertaining activities, a great atmosphere! I attended most of the editions for work reasons, as a journalist of the cultural source, every time the fair started we practically moved there to work. Between doing interviews, reviews and chronicles, the days went fast, that's why I have almost no photos taken by me during the fairs, I didn't have time for that.

This photo I share today was taken during a free moment, walking and looking at the stands of the fair, which in that edition was held at the Teresa Carreño Theater. It was taken by a newspaper photographer without me realizing it, maybe 8 years ago or something like that, and a friend who worked in that media saw it and passed it to me: “look, you were in the newspaper today”, she said. I was surprised to see myself there hehe, but then I thought it was funny, has anything like that ever happened to you?
