Dark side of love | Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

It was about six o'clock in the afternoon when I went out to the balcony, I don't remember what for, but the sun was falling in that space in a special way. My beloved cat Linda was there, sitting, and I thought that light was ideal to take some pictures with her, so I quickly looked for my camera.

Linda, my precious black cat, liked to be photographed, she seemed to me to be comfortable posing. When I held her for these photos, she didn't put up any resistance, she loved the attention, especially having me comb her shiny fur.

She left this world a few years ago, but she is the cat that I have had the longest, she lived 18 years, I will tell you her interesting story in another publication that I will dedicate exclusively to her.

This session that I share with you didn’t last more than 15 minutes, the sun was moving quickly until it disappeared and we had to take advantage of it. As for the editing, the photos have no filters or retouching, the only thing I did was to change them to black and white to participate in the #monomad challenge.

There are still people who are superstitious and believe that black cats are bad luck and that kind of nonsense. I always felt lucky to have found this beautiful little panther, to have spent so many years with her and to have known the dark side of love.

Eran como las seis de la tarde cuando salí al balcón, no recuerdo a qué, pero el sol caía en ese espacio de forma especial. Mi amada gata Linda estaba allí, sentada, y pensé que esa luz era ideal para tomarme unas fotos con ella, así que busqué mi cámara rápidamente.

A Linda, mi preciosa gata negra, le gustaba ser retratada, me parece que se sentía cómoda posando. Cuando la cargué para estas fotos, no opuso resistencia, le encantaban las atenciones, sobre todo que le peinara su brillante pelaje.

Ella dejó este mundo hace unos años, pero es la gata que por más tiempo he tenido, vivió 18 años, les contaré su interesante historia en otra publicación que le dedicaré exclusivamente.

Esta sesión que les comparto no duró más de 15 minutos, el sol se movía rápidamente hasta desaparecer y había que aprovecharlo. En cuanto a la edición, las fotos no tienen filtros ni retoques, lo único que hice fue pasarlas al blanco y negro para participar en el reto #monomad.

Todavía hay gente supersticiosa que cree que los gatos negros dan mala suerte y ese tipo de tonterías. Yo siempre me sentí afortunada de haber encontrado a esta hermosa panterita, pasar tantos años con ella y haber conocido el lado oscuro del amor.
