Aerial views between the city and nature [ENG-ESP]

Since the existence of drones we have the possibility to see images of the earth that before only a few or no one could see, however we cannot board one of them, so air transport remains the only option to observe and fly at the same time.

Desde que existen los drones tenemos la posibilidad de ver imágenes de la tierra que antes sólo veían unos pocos o nadie, sin embargo nosotros no podemos abordar uno de ellos, entonces el transporte aéreo sigue siendo la única opción para observar y volar a la vez.

In this post I bring you some pictures I took during a work trip. We took off in a small plane from La Carlota Air Base in Caracas (Venezuela) to go to a town in the state of Amazonas, near the border with Apure state, more than 800 km away.

En esta publicación les traigo unas fotos que hice durante un viaje de trabajo. Despegamos en una avioneta desde la Base Aérea La Carlota, en Caracas (Venezuela) para ir hasta un pueblo que queda en el estado Amazonas, cerca de la frontera con el estado Apure, son más de 800 Km de distancia.

The flight lasted about an hour and a half, and during that time I spent most of the time taking pictures of the urban and natural landscapes that were appearing before my eyes through the window.

El vuelo duró como una hora y media, y en ese tiempo me dediqué más que todo a hacer fotos a los paisajes tanto urbanos como naturales que iban apareciendo ante mis ojos a través de la ventanilla.

But I also took the opportunity to visit the pilot, talk to him a bit and see all the devices he handles.

Aunque también aproveché para visitar al piloto, conversar un poco con él y ver todos los dispositivos que maneja.

The plane had about 18 seats if I remember correctly, I was sitting in the last row and behind me was this:

La avioneta tenía como unos 18 asientos si mal no recuerdo, yo estaba sentada en la última fila y detrás mío había esto:

When we were flying over the city of Caracas, buildings of all kinds covered the scene, but also many green areas, the Venezuelan capital has a lot of nature between the cement, that is something that also characterizes it and of course beautifies it.

Cuando íbamos volando sobre la ciudad de Caracas los edificios de todo tipo copaban la escena, pero también muchas áreas verdes, la capital venezolana tiene mucha naturaleza entre el cemento, eso es algo que también la caracteriza y por supuesto la embellece.

As we drove away from Caracas I saw some of the surrounding neighborhoods, areas where over the years people have been building their houses improvised, see, they look like little boxes randomly placed on the mountain.

Al ir alejándonos de Caracas vi algunos de los barrios que la rodean, áreas donde a través de los años las personas fueron construyendo sus casas improvisadamente, miren, parecen pequeñas cajitas colocadas aleatoriamente en la montaña.

We also passed through mountainous places that are being urbanized, it is a bit sad to see how the greenery is being displaced in this part near Caracas.

También pasamos por lugares montañosos que están siendo urbanizados, es un poco triste ver cómo se desplaza el verdor en esta parte cercana a Caracas.

Suddenly we left the urban landscape, the route took us to the south of Venezuela, to a town surrounded by nature.

De repente salimos del paisaje urbano, la ruta nos llevaba al sur de Venezuela, a un pueblo entre mucha naturaleza.

Meandering rivers between the jungle began to appear, fortunately there were few clouds and I was able to appreciate all this beauty.

Serpenteantes ríos entre la selva comenzaron a aparecer, afortunadamente había pocas nubes y pude apreciar toda esta belleza.

It's a pity I didn't ask which river this was. As we approached our destination, you could see the sandy, freshwater beaches.

Es una lástima que no haya preguntado qué río era este. Cuando nos acercábamos a nuestro destino, se veía la arena, las playas de agua dulce.

I really liked the strange shapes of these sandbanks, very surreal.

Me gustaron mucho las extrañas formas de estos bancos de arena, muy surrealistas.

Finally we spotted a town and the pilot informed us that there was a small airport, where we landed.

Finalmente divisamos una población y el piloto nos informó que allí estaba un pequeño aeropuerto, donde aterrizamos.
