A colorful natural jewel [ENG-ESP]

One of the things I liked the most about this beach were its colors, I don't know if the time or the month I went had something to do with the saturation they had.

Una de las cosas que más me gustó de esta playa fueron sus colores, no sé si la hora o el mes que fui tienen algo que ver con la saturación que tenían.

The intensity obtained in these images is not the product of an editing program, in truth everything looked like that live and direct, and I was lucky that my humble digital camera managed to capture that, it doesn't always happen.

La intensidad obtenida en estas imágenes no es producto de un programa de edición, en verdad todo se veía así en vivo y directo, y tuve suerte de que mi humilde cámara digital lograra capturar eso, no siempre sucede.

Definitely the name of the place, Playa Colorada (Colored Beach), is not gratuitous, they say it refers to how reddish and golden the sand is but it seems to me that the set of everything that is in the landscape gives it that particular liveliness.

Definitivamente el nombre del lugar, Playa Colorada, no es gratuito, dicen que se refiere a lo rojiza y dorada que es la arena pero a mi me parece que el conjunto de todo lo que está en el paisaje le imprime esa particular viveza.

Playa Colorada is a short distance from the capital of Sucre state, Cumaná (Venezuela), on the side of the road next to a small village perched on a slight slope. There are no large buildings there but houses, some of them are inns.

Playa Colorada está a poca distancia de la capital del estado Sucre, Cumaná (Venezuela), a un costado de la carretera junto a un pequeño pueblo asentado en una leve pendiente. No hay grandes edificaciones allí sino casas, agunas de ellas son posadas.

So a large part of the population is sustained by the movement on the beach, the fishermen at sea and others dedicated to serving tourists with food stalls and other services.

Entonces gran parte de la población se sustenta del movimiento que se de en la playa, los pescadores al mar y los otros dedicados a atender a los turistas con puestos de comida y otros servicios.

I bathed for hours in its somewhat deep but serene and warm waters. It belongs to the Mochima National Park, located between the states of Sucre and Anzoátegui, a huge area (94,935 hectares) full of spectacular beaches and islands.

Me bañé por horas en sus aguas algo hondas pero serenas y cálidas. Pertenece al Parque Nacional Mochima, ubicado entre los estados Sucre y Anzoátegui, una enorme área (94.935 hectáreas) llena de espectaculares playas e islas.
