Що ми знаємо про мох? Насправді зовсім небагато. Лише те, що він є одним з найдавніших на планеті видом рослинного світу. Відомо, що він рівномірно поширений на всій земній кулі, в усіх кліматичних зонах. Ми ж його ідентифікуємо за приємним килимковим покриттям зелених віддінків та витривалістю за різних погодних умов.

What do we know about moss? In fact, not much at all. Only that it is one of the oldest plant species on the planet. It is known that it is evenly distributed throughout the globe, in all climatic zones. We identify it by its pleasant carpeting of green shades and endurance under various weather conditions.

Прогулюючись весняним лісом, який тільки готується одягти свої зелені одежі, я вирішив зосередитись на цих рослинах, адже у лісі його дуже багато. Якось він одразу привертає увагу своїми яскравими кольорами на фоні ще сірої, сплячої природи.

Walking through the spring forest, which is just getting ready to put on its green clothes, I decided to focus on these plants, because there are a lot of them in the forest. Somehow, it immediately attracts attention with its bright colors against the background of still gray, sleeping nature.

Знаходячи все нові і нові поверхні з мохом, я захопився його різноманіттям, які прекрасні природні композиції він створює.

Finding new and new surfaces with moss, I was fascinated by its diversity, what beautiful natural compositions it creates.

Неначе справжній художник - мох оперує щильністю, відтінками, рельєфом, насиченістю. А по факту, це є маленький мікровсесвіт, в якому все впорядковано.

As if a real artist - moss operates with density, shades, relief, saturation. And in fact, it is a small microuniverse in which everything is ordered.

Давно я не проводив час з таким захопленням і азартом. Згадались навіть шкільні роки з завданнями по біології знайти якомога більше видів дерев і зібрати їх листя.

I haven't spent time with such enthusiasm and excitement for a long time. I even remembered school years with biology tasks to find as many types of trees as possible and collect their leaves.
