Відсутність електропостачання в нашому селі та ніжне сонце за вікном спонукають вийти подихати свіжим зимовим повітрям. Мороз хоч і хапає трохи за носа, та він не лякає. Зловив себе на думці, що вже майже тиждень просидів вдома - то купа роботи, або просто погана погода відлякувала вийти на двір.

The lack of electricity in our village and the gentle sun outside the window encourage us to go out and breathe in the fresh winter air. Although the frost grabs a little by the nose, it does not frighten. I caught myself thinking that I have been at home for almost a week - either a lot of work, or simply bad weather has discouraged me from going out into the yard.

І прогулянка припала як раз на захід сонця, яке повільно спускалось своїм золотим колом крізь хмари. На вулицях ні людей, ні машин і тільки клуби диму з коминів та аромат спалених в пічках дубових дров нагадує, що життя є, воно сидить по хатах і гріється.

And the walk happened just at sunset, which was slowly descending in its golden circle through the clouds. There are no people, no cars on the streets, and only puffs of smoke from the chimneys and the aroma of oak wood burned in the stoves remind us that there is life, it sits in the houses and keeps warm.

Не віриться, що вже зима наближається до завершення. Рік тому щось відбулося з часом, він неначе збився і ми разом з ним. Час летить, а ми стоїмо на місці та нерозуміємо, що відбувається і коли все знову врівноважиться.

I can't believe that winter is already coming to an end. A year ago, something happened with time, as if he lost his way and we along with him. Time flies, and we stand still and do not understand what is happening and when everything will balance again.
