The Middle Ages returned to Smederevo [ENG-SRB]

Hello everyone!
We all use nice days to enjoy with our loved ones somewhere outside, in nature. Such was my day. I decided to walk around my town and stop by the fortress. I heard metal hitting metal, I immediately remembered that the breath of the Middle Ages had come to life in our city. The knights came.

Svi koristimo lepe dane za uživanje sa svojim omiljenim osobama negde napolju, u prirodi. Takav je bio ovaj moj dan. Odlučio sam da se prošetam po mom gradu i da svratim do tvrđave. Čuo sam kako metal udara o metal, odmah sam se setio da je u naš grad oživeo srednjovekovni dih. Došli su vitezovi.

This event is one of the biggest in my city. It gathers lovers of history, but also those who want to learn more about knights. I'm not a history buff, but every year I find it interesting to watch their fights. Unfortunately, I missed it this year, but I had the opportunity to enjoy the other charms that this event offers us.

Ova manifestacija je jedna od najvećih u mom gradu. Ona okuplja zaljubljenike u istoriju, ali i one koji žele više da nauče o vitezovima. Ja na nisam zaljubljenik u istoriju, ali svake godine mi je zanimljivo da gledam njihove borbe. Na žalost ove godine sam propustio, ali sam imao priliku da uživam u ostalim čarima koje nam pruža ovaj događaj.

Tents were set up everywhere. People were enjoying the moment. It felt positive, but at some moments also tense energy, that's because of the fight. There were stands with drinks, food, but also with weapons, such as a bow and arrow, a sword, a shield, you could also buy real knight's armor. Walking around and looking at all the interesting things that can be bought, I was accompanied by medieval music that added a special note to everything. For a moment I was back in the Middle Ages. They even provided us with a couple of disciplines, one could shoot at a target with a bow and arrow or throw a javelin. Many struggled to drive the spear into the target. I didn't have a chance to try it because the line was too long.

Svuda su bili postavljeni šatori. Ljudi su uživali u trenutku. Osećala se pozitivna, ali u nekim trenucima i napeta energija, to je zbog borbe. Bili su štandovi sa pićima, hranom, ali i sa oružjem, kao što su luk i strela, mač, štit, moglo je da se kupi i pravi viteški oklop. Šetajući se i posmatrajući šta sve interesantno može da se kupi, pratila me je srednjovekovna muzika koja je svemu dodavala jednu posebnu notu. Na trenutak sam se vratio u srednji vek. Čak su nam i omogućili par disciplina, moglo ke da se puca u metu sa lukom i strelom ili da se baca koplje. Mnogi su se mučili da zabiju koplje u metu. Ja nisam imao priliku da probam jer je bio predugačak red.

Real, true lovers of this festival slept in the fortress. They had their own tents and lived there for the three days this event lasted. It sounds like a real adventure to me, I have a desire to try one night to spend with the knights.

Pravi, istinski zaljubljenici u ovaj festival su spavali u tvrđavi. Imali su svoje šatore i tu su živeli sva tri dana koliko je i trajao ovaj događaj. Meni to zvuči kao prava avantura, imam želju da probam jednu noć da provedem sa vitezovima.
