Same Object, Different Lens.

It's all about perspective, isn’t it?

Have you ever passed by the same street over and over again, but only at some point you finally immerse yourself in its inviting atmosphere? Have you ever done the same thing over and over again, but only at some point you finally appreciate it?

Same object, just a different lens. That's when I realized the importance of point of view. I used to pass this road quite often, either on my way to work or running some errands. I know this road has several big and shady trees making it just feel different than any other random roads. But only recently when I returned to my hometown and started cycling again, I tried to capture this street with its mysterious atmosphere.

Perspective matter. Often we can't truly change our daily situations, but viewing them differently may help to slightly enhance the sense of novelty. I thought cycling around my area had become mundane and boring, until I found myself still getting lost when I didn’t have the connection to google maps, and even ended up at the cemetery.. how scary. Not that the theme of today’s blog is like a gothic visual shots or something like that lol, I just happened to experience it.

This may not be related to what I wrote above, but there are many roads I frequently pass by but haven’t explored, many things I consistently do but haven’t fully dedicated myself to. Maybe it’s time to really look at the same object through a different kind of lens.
