Curve Hypnosis

In this series, I focused on the body as shape and surface — not identity. I wanted to explore how much can be expressed through fragments alone, without showing the face or providing any context. Just skin, form, light, and shadow.

Each image is tightly cropped to encourage a closer look. I used backlighting and wet skin to highlight structure and detail, turning the body into something sculptural.

There’s no retouching here. I wasn’t aiming for perfection. I wanted the skin to feel real and physical. The water drops and strong contrast help create a sense of weight, pressure, and rhythm throughout the series.

This work is about physical presence — not in a posed or polished way, but in its raw, direct form. Each frame becomes a quiet study of how the body interacts with light.

Hello @slavick and welcome to Hive's black and white corner!
Can you do us a little favour and add the word Hive somewhere in your X account description so we can verify you?
Unfortunately we have seen quite a bit of content and ID theft attempts around here.
This verification will make all the curators a lot more confident to reward your posts. 🙂

EDIT:

Thank you very much for verifying. 🙏
Cheers!
