A Q U A

In A Q U A, I wanted to remove the usual ways we look at the body. No expression, no narrative, no identity cues. Just the physical surface, placed in controlled conditions

I chose water not for its symbolism, but for its ability to interrupt — to cover, distort, and reflect. It allowed me to isolate parts of the body and shift how we perceive them

I wanted each image to feel detached, almost clinical — not inviting, but focused. Nothing decorative. Nothing added

The idea was to hold the viewer’s attention longer than usual. To slow down the act of looking, and take away any obvious entry point.

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
