Yes, castles are my weakness and every time I travel somewhere I try to visit them if they are on the way to the final destination. This time I want to show you a real treasure - Nadashdladan, the estate of Nadashda.

It is one of the most beautiful architectural monuments in Hungary. This is a building of the era of historicism in the Neo-Gothic Tudor style. The Hall of Ancestors is one of the most luxurious interiors of manor house architecture in the historicist style in Hungary.

The romantic neo-Gothic castle with towers is still a worthy monument of the steadfast love of Count Ferenc Nadashdi and Countess Ilona Zichy. The fact is that the earl was only 24 years old when his wife died, but he still built this luxurious palace in her honor and decorated every room as if his wife was alive. Also, there is the Hall of Ancestors, which houses portraits of the great members of the Nadashdi family, and it is the most beautiful ancestral gallery in Hungary.

The castle is decorated with various forged products, a large number of various decorative elements, books, and stained glass windows. Actually, you can see everything yourself in the photos. Also, next to the castle there is a large park where many different plants and trees are planted.

According to local residents, the metal gates of the palace park, which are still in use, were made for the TV series "Another World", which was filmed here, and the upholstery of the upholstered furniture and curtains in the great salon were renewed during the filming of the TV series "The Borgias".
