With the summer finally winding down it was time for us to take a few days and go to our favorite camping spot, Pinery Provincial Park. This park is only a short 1 hour drive from us but it is one of the best parks to go kayaking or trails or just enjoy nature in Ontario.

Normally we like to head that way come July but the campground was so booked up this year, So it was hard to get a spot on a weekend or a holiday so we ended up just taking a few days off work and went during the week.

Some of the view in this park are just amazing, this is the side of the Ausable River. This runs all the way through the park and into grand bend.

These are the the turtle habitats that they use when a adult turtle lays eggs. Turtles don't take care of there young so to protect them from wildlife and humans the park does this.

These calm waters are beautiful. In the first photo it seems to be in front of a mirror made of water
