Wow those look fancier than some of the ones by the orchid farm in the suburb next to me. Are they native or did some escape out of someone's greenhouse?

They are native. In fact there are a couple of even more showy varities but I think they have very limited habitats. The pink and yellow (more so) are rare but not endangered.
