Scooter ride through Oslo

Technically we did more riding than walking. This was my 3rd time on a scooter so I did walk it in places. ;) Since I think that the idea of Wednesday Walk is to visit places and see them up close and personal. I think @tattoodjay would approve of a scooter ride!

We started by the beautiful 17th century Oslo Cathedral and rode through downtown, made our way to Palace Park which is about (2.9 km), then we went by Uranienborg church (850m) then to Frogner Park (1.4km) for a total time of 4.7km and very close to an hour!

Royal Palace

This is the official residence of the King of Norway, Harald V. I was built in 1849. There are a staggering 173 rooms! It is located in Palace Square.

This was the pretties part of the ride. The the fall colors and the light were amazing!

Uranienborg church

A quick stop at Uranienborg church.

Vigeland Musuem

We ended very close to the Vigeland museum across from the entrance of Frogner Park. Here are a couple of the stone statues on the museum grounds.

It was a great ride and when I got back to the states and looked at my credit card bill, they only charged me $4 USD. Yay!

Of course this fine with me, its all about getting out exploring and having fun

I was hoping when I started to see the scooter and indeed you did and only $4 WOW thats a good deal

Love the tour you took us all everything is so beautiful there

Thanks for joining the Wednesday, I always love seeing all the walks shared from around the world, but as I am not getting out for as many walks at the moment because of feeling the cold I am especially loving the walks all around the world its like a virtual world tour

I always waiting for your posts because you can always share natural beauty. The rent of the scooter is very low. Walk is very important for our good health. I love to see this type of cool and beautiful places. Hopefully our government make this type of clean and beautiful park in our country. Overall i really enjoy your photography. Your selfie is always beautiful. Thanks for the history of this place.

Up North is so organized! And orderly. 👀

You won't find any public spaces that pristine and immaculate around here. It looks as though it's been staged for a film shoot.

I reckon since you had to balance it's as close to a walk as a scooter ride, or enough in between to work better than well :D

Nope, not a big scooter like a Vespa, those are fun too... it is a cute little scooter. I was fun to ride through the town. :)
