One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is all the lights. If you will remember in November I put up my Christmas decorations, including lights all around my room. Looking at the white lights everyday is so soothing and calming to me.

My lights

In the Bible in John 8:12 we learn,

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Christmas Trees

I have great memories of when I was growing up of sitting in our family room looking at the lights of the Christmas tree. I could and would do it for hours.

In the Book of Mormon in Ether 4:12 we learn that Christ is the light, life and truth of the world.

And whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do good is of me; for good cometh of none save it be of me. I am the same that leadeth men to all good; he that will not believe my words will not believe me—that I am; and he that will not believe me will not believe the Father who sent me. For behold, I am the Father, I am the light, and the life, and the truth of the world.

Neighborhood Christmas lights

Last night, as a family, we went to the neighborhood Christmas lights. It is so fun when people in the same neighborhood all decorate for the holidays!

This last scripture from the Bible in Psalms 27:1 about Christ being our light and strength is so great. Especially in this world where there is so much uncertainty, anxiety and fear.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Mesa Arizona Temple Lights

These last lights are from the Mesa Arizona Temple Lights. I did a whole post last week Wednesday Walk: Mesa Temple Lights

Here are some of my favorites. I especially love from the temple grounds.


The Nativity scene at the Mesa Temple, with the star above the stable helping guide the shepherds to the Christ child.

Jesus Christ is my light and I am so happy to be celebrating his birth this Christmas season. Merry Christmas Eve!

Especially in this world where there is so much uncertainty, anxiety and fear.

This is what makes the existence of God so real...it gives us light of hope to survive and sustain .

My dad is still holding on tight so do I...there nothing much change ...everybody is asking me to make up my mind for the loss and I am not ready for that....rest it's upto the destiny...

Marry Christmas to you and your family. Yeah everyone decorated his homes and tress with lights. Your lights decorations looks very wonderful and also your neighbor building looks very beautiful. Thanks for sharing your happiness with us.
