Greetings to all, happy start to the week, happy start to the month, I hope the universe gives you a lot of joy and beautiful moments. With the intensification of the rains, life on the site manifests itself richly, one of these manifestations being insects. These photos that I share today were taken the last two weeks, during my daily visits to this small forest.

One of the most constant inhabitants of the backyard is this beautiful green beetle (Cotinis mutabilis) . It is not the first time that I publish about this wonderful insect, I have done it previously, but I never tire of admiring it. It is common for me to see it both on the backyard and in the internal garden, always with its beautiful color, its beautiful flight, and its friendly attitude, if you will, because it does not scare me when I approach it. These insects can live up to 18 months, perhaps I have seen this specimen before. Below, you can read some of my previous posts about this insect:

Here we can see it, resting on a piece of wood. I understand that they oviposit in decaying logs. I am always fascinated by how elegant and beautiful this insect is.

The next insect that I photographed at midday, the preferred time for butterflies to fly and drink flowers, is this beautiful Monarch Butterfly, its scientific name being Danaus plexippus. Here we can see it dancing on top of the flowers of the lemon balm or Lippia alba plants. This species of monarch butterfly, which lives in my country, does not have migratory habits, it is fixed, which is why I can see it almost daily on the backyard.

The following images are of a dragonfly (Anisoptera), which was perching on the tip of a dry male eggplant (Solanum erianthum D. Don) plant. These insects are rare on my backyard, and they are also very elusive, which is why I took the photo from afar. You can also see a photo of a small butterfly, which was flying and drinking lemon balm flowers, which according to my research with Google Lens, is an atom butterfly, (Hemiargus ceraunus astenidas), but I'm not 100 % sure, the truth is that she was flying, doing her job as a pollinator.

Converting the images into photography was a lot of fun. Where insects are present. In the love of nature's garden, above all, insects, small and large animals live happily. Their way of life revolves around nature. The butterfly photography is very nice showing the butterfly sitting on the branch of a small tree exposed. Nature innovation means the breeding of open-living animals.

Keep up the good work. 👏🎵

Dear beloved Hive creator,

Coding poet Gudasol here to support you sharing your art + life on Hive.

As a fellow creator, I know how hard it is to get the word out there.

I built cXc.world to help creators like us get more support from the blockchain community + beyond.

Share your music on cXc.world, and copy the Markdown for a easy post includes embedded players for Spotify, Youtube, Soundcloud.

That way, you can earn HIVE + stack streams on centralized platforms, as they do still matter.

Not a music creator? No problem. You can still use cXc.world to find + share music you love.

What's next?

Preview the next evolution of cXc, Tetra.earth.

Expose local music from your area!

We're helping grassroots musicians, and you can too by adding their music (no sign up or WAX account required).

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋

We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.

For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
