Work Meets Luxury: My Memorable Stay at Marco Polo Ortigas, Manila

During a recent work trip, I had the chance to stay at Marco Polo Ortigas, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had in the Philippines. Though our stay lasted only two days and was mainly for business, the comfort, service, and overall atmosphere of the hotel left a lasting impression. Sometimes, even short stays can offer lasting memories and that’s exactly what Marco Polo Ortigas gave us.

From the moment we entered the hotel, we were welcomed with warm smiles. The check-in process was fast and easy, which we really appreciated after a long and tiring day. The lobby was quiet, beautiful, and had a modern but cozy design that helped us feel relaxed right away. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help with anything we needed.

Our room was just as amazing. It was big, very clean, and had a peaceful feel that made it easy to rest. The bed was large and super comfortable—we had a great sleep after our busy day. The room also had everything we needed: free bottled water, nice toiletries, a desk for work, fast Wi-Fi, and a beautiful view of the city from one of the higher floors. It was the perfect mix of comfort and work.

Even though our schedule was full, we made sure to enjoy the hotel’s famous breakfast buffet at Cucina. It was really good! There were lots of food choices—from classic Filipino dishes like tocino and garlic rice to international options like breads, eggs, and fruits. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The staff at the restaurant were also very kind and made sure we were happy with our food.

In between meetings, we had a little time to explore the hotel. We spent a short time in the lounge, which was calm and quiet. We also got to check out the pool and wellness area. Even though our stay was short, we could see that Marco Polo Ortigas is more than just a place to sleep, it’s a place to relax and feel good, even when you're busy.

What we loved the most was the great service. Every staff member from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff was polite and very helpful. They made our stay feel special with their kindness and attention to detail.

Even though we only stayed for two days, Marco Polo Ortigas gave us more than just a place to rest. It gave us comfort, convenience, and a level of care that’s hard to find. Whether you're traveling for work or just want a nice place to relax in the city, I highly recommend staying here.

I would love to stay at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila again, hopefully for a longer and more relaxing trip next time.
