Montepulciano is always a beautiful place!!
Hello dearest friends!
Yesterday, I traveled once again to Tuscany because this will be a very busy week from a work perspective. So, before heading to a place where I have to meet a client, I decided to take a walk in a beautiful and fascinating medieval village that almost all of you surely know. I’ve visited it several times, but every time, there’s always something different. I’m talking about Montepulciano, this stunning village located in the province of Siena, which sits on a 600-meter-high hill between the famous Valdichiana and the more spectacular and scenic Val d’Orcia. Despite being called a village, it has more than 10,000 inhabitants, so it’s not that small.
I must say there were quite a few tourists around, but if you visit during this time of year, you’ll find far fewer people. In fact, in my opinion, this is always the best time to travel around Tuscany. Maybe you won’t get perfect weather, but you will definitely find less chaos and fewer crowds—it’s kind of a low season.
As soon as I arrived, of course, I took a short walk to take some pictures, and I have to say I found even more shops open now than the last time I was here! But honestly, when you walk through this village, you get lost admiring and photographing every little corner because it’s truly beautiful. Plus, being in a hilly area, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of all the valleys of Tuscany. From a scenic perspective, I can say with certainty that this place is absolutely stunning.
The only thing I don’t really like is all the cars parked along the streets. They belong to the locals who, unfortunately, don’t have garages or parking lots, so they have to leave them on the road. It’s a bit inconvenient because it makes walking around a bit difficult. But after all, living in such an isolated place without a car would be really challenging.
Sometimes, I’m left speechless in front of these amazing houses—how they were built from an architectural point of view is truly incredible. They always leave me in awe.
I really hope that one day I’ll be able to come here to witness one of the most incredible and important events held in Montepulciano: the "Bravio delle Botti". It’s a race that takes place on the last Sunday of August, where the different Contrade (districts) of the village compete by rolling barrels through the streets of the historic center.
It’s a shame that some tourist attractions were closed—probably because it's the low season, so they don’t even bother opening. It’s really unfortunate, even for the tourists who were there. I don’t quite understand this way of thinking from some museums.
I hope the photos I took were interesting and that they somehow took you virtually to this wonderful Tuscan village. See you in my next post, and I wish you all a great day!

Good evening my aunt😘♥️
Of course, the condition of the car parked on the side of the road feels a little annoying, but considering the condition of the houses that look close together is a reason for them to park their cars on the road.
I like the building of this place, in my place it is very difficult to find a building with architecture like that.
Montepulciano è bellissima poi c'è i vinello bono 😍😍🤣🤣
