The intent behind the frame

Something I always try to bring into my photos is intention, even if that intention isn't immediately visible and might never be fully understood by the viewer. Sometimes it's almost like a secret, something that only makes sense inside my own head.
In this series, it comes through in the monochromatic editing as well as in the framing, especially in the first image, which has been fascinating me deeply.
These are the images I chose as my entry for today’s #monomad challenge. I hope they resonate with you in some way.
