Sertão archives
Yesterday, I was revisiting old photos to submit them to a photography festival in the sertão, organized by cultural movements from the very place where these images were taken more than 15 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to rediscover these sweet and unpretentious portraits I made in the Minadouro community, in the municipality of Ingazeira (PE), in the upper sertão of the Pajeú River.
In addition to submitting some of these images to the festival, I also realized that I had never shared any of them here before. So today, they become my entry for the #monomad contest.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I loved finding them again.

Ontem eu estava revisitando fotos antigas para inscrevê-las em um festival de fotografia do sertão, promovido por movimentos culturais do exato local onde essas fotos foram feitas, há mais de 15 anos e tive uma grata surpresa ao encontrar esses retratos tão doces e despretensiosos que fiz na comunidade Minadouro, no município de Ingazeira (PE), no alto sertão do Rio Pajeú.
Além de inscrever algumas dessas imagens no festival, percebi também que nunca tinha postado nenhuma delas por aqui. Então hoje elas são a minha entrada para o concurso #monomad.
Espero que gostem tanto quanto eu amei encontrá-las.
