Mina Art Magazine #9 | Intimacy Issue
Another issue of Mina was released to the world this week. After a month's vacation (we are right in the middle of summer in Brazil), we are back with another issue.
This time we chose to talk about the topic of intimacy and all the issues that surround this theme in a time of overexposure on the networks.
This amazing cover is a photograph taken by Russian photographer Katya Kanke-Zaikanova (if you love photography, you need to get to know her work right now) ) and I personally consider it a masterpiece.
In fact, a curious fact is that it was precisely after seeing this image for the first time that the idea occurred to me to dedicate an entire issue to the subject.
In the January issue you will also learn more about the work of artists Ariadna Arnés, Georgia Ponirakou, and Caroline Dare. And of course, as usual, a brilliant article by our contributor Jessica Valmorbida, who is a philosopher and social scientist.
Below I leave you with the first pages of Mina: our editorial and Jessica's excellent article, illustrated with images from the personal archive of Giovanna Franceschi, who shares the co-editing of Mina with me.
