A natural bond

Photographing animals has always come naturally to me.
Since I was a child, I’ve been photographing my own animals, as a way of documenting, remembering. As an adult, I started photographing animals everywhere I went, and I can honestly say I’m passionate about it.
I love photographing cows because I think they’re among the most beautiful animals there are. There’s nothing as pure as the look in their eyes. So, every time I find them up close and they become curious enough to look back at me, capturing that moment feels almost like an obligation.

In recent years, I’ve also started photographing dead animals I come across along the way. I’m not sure if there’s a clear reason, but maybe it’s my way of making sure they’re remembered.
These images, taken over the past few days, are my submission for today’s #Monomad challenge.
