Wednesday walk: walking along the alleys (Pistoia)

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
Another Wednesday, another hot day here in my city (Pistoia, Italy), but this morning I had to go in the center of the city to buy some tools for my work on art and so I thought it could be an opportunity to take some pics to write a new content for the nice #Wednesdaywalk community! ❤️

You have to know every Wednesday in the morning there is the clothes market along the main street there and so many people (citizen and tourists) use to walk there watching around, so when I want to do what I have to do in a fast way I walk along the alleys where there are no markets.

To walk along the alleys is very comfortable during the hot days, not just because there are few people, but also because the air is cool because the shadow. 😁

Alleys are interesting also because if you watch around you can find something very interesting. For example, this morning I watched a piece of street art I've never seen before:

I'm pretty sure it's a street art by the local street artist LDB, who painted some similar subjcets in different corners of my city since many years. In recent times he also exhibited his artwork (painted on paper, but in the same style) in our public library. Just to know, he uses to paint with spray and shapes just on damaged wall.

A detail:

The following one is a very short alley close to the main square of my city. The name of this alley is "Via dell'acqua" (literally means "road of the water"):

I like that king of bridge between the buildings. Now it looks like a sort of small terrace, but in the old time its was useful to connect the families who lived inside the 2 buildings.

The following alley is another one not so short. The name of this one is "Via della torre" (it means road of the tower") because at the end of this alley there were 2 small towers. It's one of the most ancient roads of my city and along the road we can see part of the ancient wall too.

We can see, in the following pic, one of the ancient towers at the end of the "Via della torre". As you can see, the tower has been renovated along the time and since more than a century is a private property:

The following one is the Via di San Bartolomeo (road of Saint Bartholomew), very close to my home. At the right of this road, in a small square, there is the Church of Saint Bartholomew, where every year there is a big party for children in the August 24th!

Well, now I have to come back to my brushes and colors.
