Time for nativity scenes in my city. ❤️

Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all! The weekend is just around the corner and the sun is shining on the sky, the weather looks perfect to spend some free time outside. As I wrote before, since a couple of weeks my city is decorated for the Christmas time and when the sun goes down the streets and the alleys are full of little lights.
Today I'm here to share with you some pics I took a couple of days ago while I was walking in the center of my city (Pistoia, Italy) about a large nativity scenes placed in a courtyard in the main square:

During this time of the year is very common to see around this kind of nativity scenes (we call them "presepe"), outside and inside the houses.

Here it's a tradition, a Christmas exhibition of small figures made using different materials to represent the birth of Jesus. As you can see in the following pics, in the presepio we can see not just the main characters of the nativity, but also animals, shepherds, houses and different kind of things like rivers, bridges, etc.

This nativity scenes was made by Carmine Vuolo, an artist who loves to work on this kind of representation.

Now I have to come back to my brushes and colors, because I have to finish a new artwork I started just this morning. ❤️
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
