The Architecture Festival in my city and a interesting bamboo structure.

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
I hope you spent a wonderful weekend! A new working week is just started and here today it's raining hard since some hours.

Fortunately we had a not rainy weekend (even if the weather was really cold) and so we enjoyed a little time outside.
As I wrote in one of my previous contents, on Froday I went with my friend Elena to meet a couple of our friends at the Architecture Festival in my city (Pistoia, Italy). Even if me and Elena are not architects, it was a very interesting event! The title of the festival was "Abitare il cambiamento – Spazi e stili di vita del mondo che vorremmo." (in italian it means "Inhabiting Change – Spaces and Lifestyles of the World We Would Like.").
When me and Elena arrived at the city hall, the ancient building where there was the Festival, we watched some young people who were building a bamboo structure around a sculpture by the artist Marino Marini (a very known artist of the past) and I was very intrigued by the way to build it, so I took some pics during the process. Yesterday I came back there with my hubby to see the final result of that installation and you can see it in the following pics:

As I wrote, it was very interesting to watch the "work in progress" of this bamboo structure and so here you can see some pics I took with my camera on Friday:

There were a lot of interesting talking and a couple of Yurta installed in the main square of my city, a little one and another larger one placed close to the Christmas tree (here the municipality decided to start the Christmas time in the Friday):
