Break from rain

Like I wrote before, since two days here it's raining. I like to find positive views for everything and I think there are something positive also during the rainy time.
For example I like the sound of the raindrops while they run on the glass of the window and on the plants in my backyard.
A lot of dark red leaves fallen down from my plum tree and there is a sort of red carpet outside. The rain seems to make that sort of carpet more brilliant than usual.

Rainy time make me think about how cozy is my home. A cup of hot tea, my furry friends sleeping on the sofa, my mind full of ideas for new artworks and, after the dinner, I'll place myself on the sofa (between my cats) with a warm blanket on my legs and something nice to see on the tv. Not so bad, right? 😊

A couple of hours ago, during a brek from rain, I went in my backyard. The colors around me looked so vivid and, even if the sky was full of dark clouds, there was enough natural light to take some pics to share with you.

The break from rain made me think about a sort of metaphor of the life. As in our own life, we have to accept the dark moments to appreciate the light more than before, as the same way we accept the rain time (that is part of the circle of the Nature) to enjoy better a pause from it.
